Who can be the holder of the private package?

Anyone who is at least 18 years old, resident in the EU, passes the KYC verification and pays the annual subscription can be the holder of the private package. 

How much does it cost to register a Private package?

Registration of the Private package costs EUR 36 per year and is renewed annually. In addition, the one-off costs for the initial registration are EUR 13.85 and include the costs for KYC verification, issuing the first physical card, and postage for sending the card to the holder's address in the EU. Therefore, the initial registration of the private package costs EUR 49.85.

KYC, verification during my registration in the Callidus system

We do not carry out a credit check during registration. The only check that is carried out for your security is KYC (Know Your Customer), where the user is asked to confirm his or her identity for security reasons. KYC (Know Your Customer) is a mandatory part of the process to identify and verify the customer's identity when opening a bank account.

How do I pass KYC and what documents do I need?

The user is guided step by step in the app. In order to perform the KYC check, the user must prepare the following documents before entering the identification process in the app: an identification document (ID card or passport) and proof of address (any bill - electricity, water, utility, heating) on which the user's first and last name and the associated address are clearly recognisable). During the KYC check, the user must take a photo of these two documents and upload it for verification. To complete the verification, the user must also record a video of their face and say three numbers. During the KYC process, the user defines their Intergiro PIN and/or biometrics, an additional authentication factor that should be present in addition to the Callidus PIN and biometrics. Further information on PIN and biometrics can be found below.

How often do I have to go through the KYC procedure after registration?

KYC verification is only carried out once during the entire user registration process in the Callidus Pay system. The user is obliged to submit a proof of address every three years, which is communicated by the system in good time; a new KYC verification is not required. If valid proof of permanent residence in the EU is provided, the registration remains active.

What if I don't pass the KYC verification?

The KYC check can lead to a negative result in two cases: Some of the scanned documents (ID card/passport and proof of address) are not visible or are not uploaded properly; the user is not authorised to undergo KYC verification (does not meet the KYC requirements in terms of EU residency). If the KYC has not been passed due to improper transmission of the multimedia verification, the user can repeat the process and has a maximum of 3 attempts in which he/she must send the material properly. If the third attempt also fails, it is possible to contact CallidusPay Support to resolve the problem. If there is another reason for a negative result of the KYC check, e.g. if the user does not fulfil the KYC requirements, the user will receive a corresponding message. In this case, CallidusPay has no influence on the further process.

When and how do I create a Callidus PIN and biometrics when registering?

PIN or alternatively biometrics are part of the CallidusPay security procedure. We want to offer our users the greatest possible protection and for this reason, in addition to the user name and password, we have an additional factor for user authentication, namely a PIN or biometrics. Callidus PIN and biometrics are created in the registration process, in particular in steps 4 and 5 of the registration process. CallidusPay allows the user to use an already defined PIN or biometric data that they have personally stored on their smartphone. If the user has not set a PIN and biometrics on their smartphone or does not wish to use them in the Callidus app, it is also possible to create a PIN or alternatively biometrics specifically for the Callidus registration process. A Callidus PIN is a six-digit PIN code.

When and how do I create an Intergiro PIN and biometrics?

The Intergiro PIN and biometrics are security measures implemented exclusively by Intergiro (banking service provider in the Callidus Pay system). Intergiro has direct legal contact and contractual obligations with the Swedish Central Bank, the institution where CallidusPay opens each user's bank account. This is where your digitally managed money is kept safe. It is therefore necessary for every user to agree to Intergiro of use and Callidus Pay's terms of use when registering. Furthermore, during this process, the user must give their consent to Intergiro in accordance with data protection law: The user grants access to their personal data. These are verified and secured by providing a PIN and biometric data, which may or may not be identical to CallidusPay's PIN and biometric data. The Intergiro PIN and biometrics are created during the user registration process in the Callidus system, more precisely during the KYC procedure. To make it easier to work with the Callidus app, it is recommended that the Callidus and Intergiro PINs are identical so that the data can be applied in a user-friendly way. The Intergiro PIN is also a six-digit PIN code.

What do I pay when I buy the first Private package?

An account with a Swedish IBAN, personalisation and issuance of a physical (plastic) payment card and a virtual payment card, KYC verification, postage for delivery of the physical card to your home address (anywhere in the EU), and use of the Callidus Pay app.

Can I have several private packages at the same time?

Yes, a registered user can have an unlimited number of private packages at the same time.

What do I pay when I buy the second and all other private packages?

When purchasing the second and all other private packages, the KYC fee is waived as it has already been passed. Accordingly, the price for each additional private package is EUR 44.85.

Do I have to buy an additional private package for the new card or can I order an additional card for the existing package?

Up to 10 physical and/or virtual cards can be ordered within a private package. Each new private package creates a new bank account as well as 1 physical card and 1 virtual card, which are always included in the package price.

How much does it cost to order an additional card for an existing package?

Each new physical card ordered as part of the existing private package costs €9.00. This price includes the annual costs for the maintenance of the card as well as the personalisation and issuing of a physical (plastic) VISA card. Postage for delivery of the card to the specified home address in the EU is also included. Each new virtual card ordered as part of the existing private package costs €3.00. 

What is a physical card?

A physical or plastic card is a payment card with which the user can make various payments both on site (at the POS terminal) and online and also withdraw cash from accounts at ATMs. The cardholder's details, card number, month and year of card expiry and CVV number (three-digit security number on the back of the card) are printed on each physical card. You receive a physical card with every Callidus private package purchased. Further card orders are possible.

How long does it take from ordering a physical card to delivery?

The delivery time of the physical card is between 7 and 10 days from the day of the order. If there are non-working days and/or public holidays in the period following the order, the delivery time may be extended by the number of non-working days.

How do I activate the card when I receive it?

Once the card has been ordered, it is packaged and sent to the specified home address in the EU. After receiving the card, start the CallidusPay app. Simply select the ordered card in the "Cards" menu and then click on the "Activate" button. The screen for entering the Intergiro verification and the CVV number (three-digit number on the back of the new card) will then open. After entering the CVV number, the card is activated. If the CVV number is entered incorrectly three times, the card is automatically blocked. In this case, Callidus support must be contacted to solve the problem.

Unblocked or blocked physical card?

As an added security by Callidus, your physical card is blocked for payments by default. If the user wishes to make a payment, they should go to the "Cards" menu, select the desired card and click on the "Unblock" button. They should then validate the unblocking with PIN or biometric data. The card will remain unblocked until you block it again, and it will stay that way every time. Please note that unlocking and locking your card too frequently (e.g. more than 10 times a day) as an additional security measure may result in your mobile phone number being called to check that everything is OK with your card and account.

How much money can I spend per day, week or month on the physical card?

All spending limits are displayed on the "Price List" page on the Callidus Pay website in the "Limits" section, namely at: https://calliduspay.com/pricing.

Can I set the spending limits on my physical card myself?

Yes, you can set spending limits for all your cards individually by clicking on the individual card for which you want to change the limit in the "Cards" menu and then clicking on the pencil icon next to "Limit".

What is the maximum number of tickets I can order as the holder of a private package?

A user can order a maximum of 10 physical and/or virtual cards for his or her account.

What is a virtual card?

As the name suggests, a virtual card is a payment card that only exists electronically (virtually). You still have the card number, the expiry date, the CVC2 or CVV code and the cardholder's name, but these are only available online and only to you on your mobile phone, not as a physical plastic card. Virtual cards can be used to make purchases online or by phone. With every Callidus Private Package purchased, the user receives a virtual card and the user has the option of ordering additional virtual cards for their package.

How long should it take from ordering the virtual card to authorising payment?

The virtual card is activated immediately after you place your order. As soon as you have completed the order process, you can use your virtual card immediately.

How many virtual cards can I order as the holder of the Private package?

A holder can order a maximum of 10 physical or virtual cards as part of their customer account.

Virtual card unblocked or blocked?

As an added security by Callidus, your virtual card is blocked for payments by default. If the user wishes to make a payment, they should go to the "Cards" menu, select the desired card and click on the "Unblock" button. They should then validate the unblocking with PIN or biometric data. The card will remain unblocked until you block it again, and it will stay that way every time. How do I recommend Callidus (to friends, family, colleagues, etc.)?

Referrals are made verbally, via the app (direct sharing with your phone contacts) or via social networks by sharing your Callidus code with potential new users, who must enter it when registering. The user can find and share their code in the "My profile" menu under "Recommend Callidus". Each user can recommend a new holder of a private package or Callidus franchise. From this menu, your Callidus code can be copied and sent and an invitation link shared, which includes an invitation message, promotional videos and a link that the user can click on and is immediately redirected to registration with the caller's Callidus code entered.

How do I track the number of my registered referrals?

As soon as a new user registers with your code or the code of one of your referrals, you will be informed by notification (in the application and email notification) and all new users will also be visible in your network. Via the "Commissions" menu, you can track all your current and forecast commissions and view your entire network in 4 depth levels via the "My network" item.

My commission for recommending Callidus

Every owner of the private package can earn money by recommending the Callidus system to their friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances. Whenever one of the referred users registers and enters your Callidus code in the "Referral code" field when registering, you earn money. You receive 1 EUR from each registered user, regardless of whether you have recommended them personally, i.e. directly, or indirectly (one of your recommendations has triggered a new recommendation). And all this vertically in 4 depth levels. Your earnings can increase up to the maximum annual cost of maintaining the Callidus private package (EUR 36).

How long am I entitled to commission?

You will receive a commission for the registration of a new user (package owner or franchise owner from the EU) and for each renewal of their annual subscription fee (in 4 vertical referral levels and no horizontal referral limit for all referrers). Commission is earned as long as you and all customers you refer (in 4 tiers) pay the annual subscription fee. There is no time limit.

What happens to my referrals if I become a Callidus franchisee as a Private package holder?

Any referrals you received as a private package owner are still in your network of Callidus franchisees. As a Private Package Holder you were not entitled to a commission from the recommended Callidus Franchise Holder, and now that you have become a Callidus Franchise Holder you are. Similarly, unlike the owner of the private package, the owner of the Callidus franchise is not subject to any limit on the amount of commission realised.

Who can own a Callidus franchise?

Callidus franchisees can be any legal entity from the EU or outside the EU, regardless of the legal organisational form of the company. Callidus franchisee registration in the EU is an extended form of private package registration, as the private package holder is a natural person and the franchise licence is linked to a legal entity. This means that in addition to all the information entered when registering the private package, when registering the franchise licence we enter the details of the company that will be the holder of the licence. We collect general information about the company (address, responsible person, ID, tax number) and the number of the company's bank account to which the Callidus commission is transferred on a monthly basis. The registration of a franchise holder outside the EU is identical to the registration for holders in the EU, with the following exception: as persons outside the EU cannot have a Callidus private package, the new Callidus franchise holder does not need to do a KYC verification or create a private package at registration.

How much does it cost to register a Callidus franchise?

The Callidus franchise registration and the basic annual subscription cost EUR 1900. All further information on the franchise price can be found in the franchise agreement and the franchise manual.

Is there a difference between EU and non-EU franchisees?

Franchisees outside the EU cannot be holders of private packages (Intergiro accounts, cards, etc.) and therefore the KYC procedure and the private package registration process do not apply to them. The area of operation, working conditions and commission calculation are identical. Franchisees outside the EU receive commission in their home country and bear the transaction costs of these payments themselves. Franchisees in the EU must complete the private package registration and then the franchise registration (further information can be found in the category "Registration as a private package owner").

What is the main task of a Callidus franchisee?

The Callidus Franchisee's main task is to direct potential new customers of Callidus Private Package holders and Callidus Franchisees to the Callidus Pay website and app. You can do this verbally, via the app (sharing directly with your phone contacts) or via social networks by sharing your Callidus code with potential new users who need to enter it when registering. You can find out more in our franchise manual.

Can I stop being a franchisee and still remain a private package holder?

Yes, the franchise licence can be terminated as long as ownership of the private package remains active.

Are there any restrictions on my activities as a Callidus franchisee?

Yes, there is a list of prohibited activities to which the franchisee must adhere. The list of prohibited activities is set out in the Franchise Handbook. Furthermore, Callidus franchisees have no influence on the prices of Callidus products. The prices are set exclusively by Callidus Pay GmbH in co-operation with Intergiro. Callidus franchisees must comply with the marketing activities in the Callidus Pay GmbH system.

Are there any other restrictions for Callidus franchisees?

No, there are no further restrictions. There are no fixed working hours or locations for a Callidus franchisee. Each franchisee is completely independent in his or her choice of time, address and working method - he or she recommends. The Callidus franchise owner is not an employee of anyone and has no employees. Furthermore, there is no hierarchy in the Callidus Pay concept and in the weekly, monthly or annual reports.

How do I recommend Callidus Private Package and Callidus Franchise to known (friends, family, colleagues, etc.) and unknown potential customers?

Referrals are made verbally, via the app (direct sharing with your phone contacts) or via social networks by sharing your Callidus code with potential new users, who must enter it when registering. The user can find and share their code in the "My profile" menu under "Recommend Callidus". Each user can recommend a new owner of a private package or a new owner of a Callidus franchise. From this menu you can copy and send your Callidus code, you can also share an invitation link that contains an invitation message, promotional videos and a link that the user can click on and is immediately redirected to the registration with the Callidus code entered by the caller. How do I track the number of my registered referrals and their annual payments?

As soon as a new customer (private package or franchise) registers with your code or the code of one of your referrals (in 4 depth levels vertically and without horizontal restrictions), you are informed of this via a notification (in the app and by email) and all new customers and their annual payments are visible in your network. Via the "Commissions" menu, you can track your total past and projected commission and view your entire network in 4 depth levels via "My network".

How does the Callidus franchisee's commission calculation work?

The commission is calculated automatically each month in the Callidus app. On the first of each month, a voucher for the previous month's total commission is automatically sent. A copy of the voucher must be sent to the Callidus Pay email address, whereupon Callidus Pay will pay out commission for the previous month by the end of the month. The voucher can be sent to two other email addresses that you select as regular monthly recipients of your vouchers (our recommendation: it should be your email address and the address of your tax advisor).

What happens to my referrals if I become a Callidus franchisee as a private package holder?

Any referrals you received as a Private Package Holder will still be in your network of Callidus franchisees. As a Private Package Holder you were not entitled to commission from the recommended Callidus Franchise Holder, and now that you have become a Callidus Franchise Holder you are entitled to commission. Similarly, unlike the private package holder, the Callidus franchise holder is not subject to any restrictions on the amount of commission realised.

What is the Callidus cashback system?

The Callidus cashback system is unique in that it enables significantly greater savings, i.e. income with Callidus cards, compared to all other cashback systems on the market. The Callidus cashback system includes rebates where the most money is spent, i.e. where the most card payments are made. Our scheme covers an unlimited number of shops, hotels, restaurants, hair and beauty salons and many other businesses in the EU where Callidus cardholders receive certain discounts.

How does the Callidus cashback system work?

The Callidus cashback system works in such a way that Callidus franchisees who own a particular business (hotel, restaurant, car hire, shop, etc.) register as cashback partners free of charge. When cashback partners register, they present their basic business, i.e. their offer, with pictures, a price list and the amount of the discount they grant to customers who pay with a Callidus card. All Callidus cardholders can use the services of all cashback partners in the EU (by paying with their Callidus card).

How can I see offers in the Callidus cashback system and search for offers?

All cashback offers are visible in the "My profile" menu under "Cashback offers". Users can browse all active cashback offers and filter them by country, type of discount, discount amount, etc. Each offer contains contact information and an address where the discount can be used.

Can I cancel my account (IBAN) and my card?

Of course. Account and card cancellation is carried out in the "My profile" menu under "Account cancellation" or "Card cancellation" in accordance with the applicable Intergiro terms of use. There you can cancel the account (IBAN) opened with Intergiro via Callidus as well as your payment card (physical or virtual) or the entire Callidus account. After cancelling your account or card, you will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation. This protects you against any additional payments. It is not possible to cancel an account with a credit balance. The amount must be transferred to another account before cancellation.

Can I cancel my Callidus user account?

Of course. The entire user account can be cancelled in the "My profile" menu under "Account cancellation". You can cancel your Callidus account there. After cancelling your order, you will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation.

Can I cancel my Callidus franchise?

Of course. Cancel the Callidus franchise directly in writing by e-mail to info@calliduspay.com. The method and conditions of cancellation are described in the franchise agreement.

What are the current prices for Callidus products and where can I see them?

All current and valid prices for Callidus products can be found on the Callidus website on the price list page, namely at: https://calliduspay.com/pricing

Who sets the prices for Callidus products?

The prices for Callidus products are determined exclusively by Callidus GmbH in co-operation with the banking service provider Intergiro, with whom customer bank accounts are opened and who is responsible for all business transactions (payments, card issuing, etc.).

As a Callidus package holder or Callidus franchisee, can I change the price of a Callidus product during the referral process?

No, price changes by franchisees, private package holders or other people who recommend Callidus products are not possible. Prices are centralised and unique for everyone and are listed on the Callidus Pay website.
